Initia to Restart L1 and Rollups on Nov. 2 with No Transaction Rollback
Layer-one blockchain Initia plans to resume L1 and rollup operations on Nov. 2. The upgrade will include an independently audited MoveVM patch, isolation of the attacker’s remaining forged balances, and additional security measures without transaction rollback. Collateral assets for AUSD0, USDC.n, and WETH will be fully restored before the restart, requiring no separate action from users. The Initia DEX will remain temporarily paused initially, allowing designated accounts to adjust pool prices closer to market levels, with profits returned to affected liquidity providers. Bridge and exchange transfers are expected to resume after network monitoring, while withdrawal times for LayerZero OFT tokens WETH and AUSD0 will be set at 24 hours as a precaution.
