Pump.fun Adjusts 'Signal' Reward Mechanism, Emphasizing Quality Over Quantity

Pump.fun co-founder Alon stated that the team has adjusted the reward distribution mechanism for 'signals' in the app's social information feed. The original mechanism aimed to incentivize high-quality content to help traders obtain relevant token information. However, community feedback indicated that rewards were overly skewed towards users who posted a large number of 'signals' rather than truly impactful content. As a result, the platform has significantly reduced the weight of 'posting quantity' in the reward calculation, emphasizing quality over quantity.
