Talmal Closes Pre-Seed Funding Round to Expand in the Saudi Market
Saudi fintech company Talmal has closed an undisclosed Pre-Seed funding round with participation from MM Partners, in preparation for expanding its salary-linked flexible purchasing platform in the Saudi market. Founded in 2023 by Thamer Faisal Al-Qaishish, Talmal is developing a platform that connects employees, employers, and merchants, allowing employees to access purchasing power linked to their salaries. Talmal will use the funding to expand its network of companies and merchants and increase the base of employees benefiting from the platform, in addition to developing its technical infrastructure. Al-Qaishish confirmed that the round represents a transition for the company from the product-building phase to the expansion phase, while MM Partners highlighted the ability of Talmal's model to connect the three parties as an attractive factor for investment.
