In January-July 2026, Ukraine's trade turnover amounted to $82.2 billion. The import of goods was $58.1 billion, while exports totaled $24.1 billion. The taxable import volume was $40.9 billion, accounting for 18.1% of the total volume. The average tax burden per kilogram of taxable imports was $0.59. The main trading partners included imports from China at $16.8 billion, Poland at $5.5 billion, and Germany at $3.8 billion; exports to Poland were $2.8 billion, Turkey $2 billion, and Germany $1.5 billion. 73% of imports consisted of machinery, equipment, and transport at $25.7 billion, fuel and energy products at $8.5 billion, and chemical industry products at $6 billion. Food exports amounted to $14.1 billion, metals and products made from them $2.5 billion, and machinery, equipment, and transport $2.1 billion. The negative trade balance for goods was $34 billion.
