XRP Comment Ratio Drops to 0.67, Investors Remain Cautious
The market sentiment surrounding XRP has soured. Santiment reported that the positive to negative comment ratio for XRP has fallen to 0.67, the lowest level in the past month. This indicates that despite the recent rise of the token, investors are remaining cautious. Santiment monitors not only shares on X but also comments in Telegram, Reddit, and other cryptocurrency communities. Negative tones have become dominant in evaluations regarding XRP. While there was a brief optimism during the rally in September, sentiment weakened at the beginning of October. Some investors are unsettled by the price's sideways movement despite developments in institutional adoption on the XRP Ledger. A similar weakening has been observed in Ethereum; the comment ratio dropped to 0.89, marking the lowest reading since June 7. Santiment notes that negative sentiment can sometimes be interpreted as a contrarian signal. However, there is also a possibility of deepening extreme pessimism. Current data reveals a sharp deterioration in market mood, and it is possible that the narrative surrounding XRP and Ethereum may reshape in the coming days.
