CEO of New Fire Group, Weng Xiaoqi, Selected as One of Fortune's 40 Under 40 Business Leaders for 2026
On September 23, Fortune released its list of "China's 40 Under 40 Business Leaders" for 2026, featuring Weng Xiaoqi, CEO of New Fire Group. Weng was recognized for his leadership and contributions in the fintech sector, joining other entrepreneurs such as Wang Xingxing from Yushu Technology and Yang Zhilin, founder of Kimi. Established in 2011, this list highlights young leaders in China's business landscape, with past honorees including Ma Huateng and Liu Qiangdong. Weng graduated from Tsinghua University with a master's degree in software engineering and has over a decade of experience in the digital asset and blockchain industry. He previously served as CEO of HashKey Exchange and Huobi Global, promoting the development of the digital asset ecosystem in Hong Kong and Asia. Since becoming CEO of New Fire Group in August 2025, Weng has led the group in strategic upgrades, launching new services aimed at listed companies, executives, family offices, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, resulting in a client base growth of over a hundred times. New Fire Group (01611.HK) is a leading compliant digital wealth management group in Asia, dedicated to providing private banking-level digital asset wealth management services for high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients, while expanding its global Web3 business footprint, holding relevant licenses from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and the compliant digital asset exchange BitTrade in Japan.
