Ethereum Mainnet Completes First Atomic Cross-Chain Transaction from L1 to L2
The Ethereum mainnet has successfully executed its first atomic cross-chain transaction from L1 to L2, marking the implementation of atomic composability on the mainnet. This transaction was announced by Eduardo Antuña, a core contributor to the Ethereum Economic Zone (EEZ), indicating that atomic composability is no longer just a theoretical concept. Antuña noted that this achievement is merely the starting point for EEZ in promoting cross-layer synchronization interactions and liquidity unification on Ethereum.
