Hong Kong Cyberport Clarifies It Is Not an Investor in Metafyed

Hong Kong Cyberport representatives stated to RootData that after internal verification, Cyberport is not an investor in Metafyed and does not hold any equity in the company. Metafyed is a blockchain-based platform for the tokenization of real-world assets, involved in private credit and project financing. The project previously disclosed that it completed a $5.5 million financing round and claimed support from Hong Kong Cyberport, Draper, and the Stellar Development Foundation. RootData marked this financing as questionable in March this year, reminding users to pay attention to project risks, carefully assess related financing information, and welcome users to provide verifiable information and correction leads to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the data.
