USD.AI Launches GPU Lending Exchange GLX with First Trade of $98.1 Million
USD.AI unveiled its GPU financial platform GLX on the 2nd. GLX is structured to recover funds by selling GPU loans to institutional investors and reinvesting them into new GPU financing. The first trade involved a GPU loan worth $98.1 million from Duos Edge AI. Since last year, GPU financial transactions have exceeded $400 million, with GPU financing requests surpassing $25 billion. GLX recovers funds by selling GPU loans to institutions, whereas previously, sUSDai held the loan funds until maturity. With the introduction of GLX, sUSDai will only supply the initial loan funds, and once the GPU is operational, institutional investors will take over the loan. Recovered funds will return to the treasury for new GPU loans. The goal of GLX is to reduce the duration that sUSDai directly holds long-term loans. GLX applies a 'season-end sell' method to connect GPU loans with institutional capital, increasing the turnover rate of sUSDai funds. USD.AI plans to expand GLX into the GPU financial distribution market, targeting the $2 trillion 'compute middle market.'
