ACI Integrates with SWIFT, Ripple Listed as Support

ACI Worldwide has expanded its payment infrastructure to support transactions conducted over SWIFT's ledger. In the company's documents, Ripple is listed as one of the supported distributed ledger technology lines. However, current statements do not indicate that XRP will be used directly in the new integration. According to ACI's announcement on September 22, ACI has been expanded to support payments organized through SWIFT's ledger. This step will allow banks to process tokenized deposit payments within the same operational controls as traditional payment types. ACI is an international financial technology company that develops software and infrastructure solutions for banks and payment institutions. SMQKE emphasized that ACI is officially connected to SWIFT's ledger and that Ripple is listed as a distributed ledger technology line for ACI. ACI's integration provides banks access to tokenized deposits and other digital payment types through existing payment infrastructures. However, current documents do not confirm that the new SWIFT ledger application works directly with XRP.
