Blockchain.com Plans IPO to Raise $500 Million, Valuation Up to $6 Billion
Blockchain.com plans to raise approximately $500 million through an initial public offering (IPO), targeting a valuation between $4 billion and $6 billion, and may reduce the offering size if necessary to complete the listing. The company reached a valuation of $14 billion in 2022 and submitted its IPO registration documents confidentially to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in May of this year. Recently listed companies Gemini, BitGo, and eToro have seen their stock prices drop by about 50% to 80% from their post-listing highs.
