Ethereum Foundation Launches Quantum-Resistant Signature Challenge sig.golf
The Ethereum Foundation has launched an open automated research challenge, sig.golf, inviting participants to design a quantum-resistant stateless hash signature scheme for Ethereum and to use Lean to prove its security. The evaluation metric is the product of signature size and verification time, aiming to challenge the existing record. The challenge supports participants in utilizing AI Agents to compete and is developed in collaboration with EigenLabs, based on Yukon Research.

Bitcoin held near $86,000, LayerZero led majors, and Anvil surged after an institutional purchase of governance tokens.
