Dom Kwok Expects a Sudden Surge in Crypto Prices

Dom Kwok, co-founder of EasyA, stated that cryptocurrency prices could rise sharply after adoption reaches a certain threshold. Kwok explained this situation using the S-curve adoption model. He noted that new technologies are initially adopted by a limited user base, leading to slow growth. Citing the early years of the internet and television, Kwok argued that crypto assets have not yet reached a broad audience. In response to the question of whether prices will rise slowly or suddenly, he indicated that his expectation is for a sudden surge. The adoption curve shows that growth can become self-sustaining once the number of users reaches a critical mass. Kwok predicts that after reaching the critical mass stage, network effects will become more pronounced, and participation from new users will increase. He expressed that as the use cases and participation of crypto assets grow, demand will strengthen, which, combined with limited supply, could create upward pressure on prices. Kwok suggested that crypto usage could become a part of daily life in the future, similar to the internet and television. However, he acknowledged that the sector is still in its early stages. He noted that EasyA is focused on supporting mass crypto adoption during this process.
