iFX Hack Hong Kong 2026 to Focus on AI Innovation at HKU
iFX Hack Hong Kong 2026, a Trading Fintech Hackathon powered by AWS, will be held at The University of Hong Kong on Oct. 4, 2026. The event aims to unite students, developers, entrepreneurs, AI specialists, and financial professionals to create AI-powered solutions for finance. Co-organized by iFX and HKU Business School, the hackathon invites participants to tackle challenges in areas like trading, payments, compliance, and digital assets. Participation is free for individuals aged 18 and above, with team sizes ranging from 2 to 5 members. A maximum of 100 participants will be accepted. The top 7 teams will advance to the Grand Final at iFX EXPO Asia 2026 on Oct. 8, where they will present their prototypes and compete for a prize pool of 28000 HKD. The hackathon will take place from 09:30 to 21:00 at Lecture Hall II, Centennial Campus, HKU.
