OM Launches Fan Token with Chiliz
Olympique de Marseille has partnered with Chiliz to launch a fan token, a cryptocurrency offering benefits to supporters. Holders will be able to play on the pitch at the Vélodrome, visit the training center, and vote in polls on club decisions. OM joins over 60 partners, including Manchester City and FC Barcelona. In France, PSG and AS Monaco have already launched their tokens. No date or price has been announced for OM's fan token. The fan token market is currently valued at around $144 million, well below the $430 million reached in March 2022. Trading volumes had reached $9.43 billion in May 2021. Currently, PSG's fan token is trading around $0.47, which is 99.2% below its record of $58.79.
