- appropriate, but October 25 bp hike pricing has fallen below 20%.
- Bitcoin traded near $83,300 and Ethereum near $2,580; RAY rose nearly 12% in 24 hours and led.
- Micron rose about 4.1% against the tape; Caterpillar fell about 5.7% on a downgrade and dragged the Dow.
- October 8 focus is jobless claims, plus Pepsi and Delta before the open.
1 Crypto Highlights
1)Bitcoin Near $83,300; Ethereum Near $2,580
Bitcoin traded near $83,300 and remains slightly lower on the week. Ethereum traded near $2,580. Weak September jobs had reduced hike expectations, but the minutes restated that most participants lean toward another hike before year-end, while long-end yields stayed elevated and capped risk-asset elasticity. Near term, majors depend on whether October meeting pricing keeps falling and whether spot ETF flows return.
Watchlist: BTC, ETH
Spot: BTC / ETH
Futures: BTC / ETH
2)Raydium (RAY) Rises Nearly 12% in 24 Hours and Leads
Raydium traded near $2.44, up about 12.5% over 24 hours and about 26% on the week. The driver is a rebound in Solana on-chain activity and better expectations for DEX fees and liquidity incentives, rotating capital from lagging majors into high-beta application tokens. Heavier volume suggests it is not only short covering. If SOL weakens, RAY can retrace faster.
Watchlist: RAY, SOL
Spot: RAY / SOL
Futures: RAY / SOL
3)WEEX Recently Listed CLAUS
CLAUS is an Ethereum persona-experiment token. Its narrative stresses changeable identity and continuous iteration rather than fixed utility. The listing brings liquidity and attention, while near-term swings usually exceed fundamentals. Watch holder concentration and whether volume holds.
Watchlist: CLAUS
Spot: CLAUS
4)Avalanche (AVAX) Repairs on the Month, Near $11.1
AVAX traded near $11.12, up about 43% over the past month but only about 1% over the past week, stalling short term. The bounce came from a warmer subnet and institutional-chain narrative plus a repair in risk appetite, but elasticity lagged SOL and RAY, showing capital prefers application layers that already capture fees. Next is whether active addresses and new ecosystem tokens deliver.
Watchlist: AVAX
Spot: AVAX
Futures: AVAX
2 Stock Highlights
1)September Fed Minutes Sound Hawkish, but October Hike Odds Are Below 20%
The minutes showed a hawkish committee that unanimously backed the September hike, but the reasons differed: some focused on the energy-price shock, others on demand-side inflation. Most participants thought a further increase in the funds-rate target range before year-end could be appropriate, while stressing a meeting-by-meeting stance tied to incoming data. CME shows less than a 20% chance of a 25 bp hike on October 27–28, down sharply from about 70% in the days after the September decision. September CPI on October 14 could rewrite that pricing and move QQQ, SPY and IWM.
Watchlist: QQQ, SPY, TLT
Spot: QQQ / SPY / TLT
Futures: QQQ / SPY / TLT
2)Micron (MU) Rises Against the Tape as Memory Draws Flows
Major equity indexes closed lower on October 7 ET, while Micron rose about 4.1%. Visibility on AI-server and high-bandwidth memory orders still supports valuation, and capital rotated from some mega-cap tech into the memory niche as rates spiked. Next is whether capex and customer pull-through continue.
Watchlist: MU
Spot: MU
Futures: MU
3)Caterpillar (CAT) Downgraded, Dragging the Dow
Caterpillar fell about 5.7% after a broker cut the rating to Hold. High rates pressured equipment-capex expectations, and the drop accounted for most of the Dow’s decline. Cyclicals are more sensitive to long-end yields.
Watchlist: CAT
Spot: CATSTOCK
Futures: CATSTOCK
4)SpaceX (SPCX) Pulls Back on Financing Talk
SpaceX fell about 2.5%. Reports of a roughly $40 billion financing moving forward, plus chip-partnership talk with NVIDIA that failed to lift the stock, left investors worried about dilution and capex. Starship progress remains the medium-term catalyst.
Watchlist: SPCX
Spot: SPCX
Futures: SPCX

3 Today’s Preview
October 8 focus is weekly jobless claims and pre-market results from Pepsi and Delta. Investors will watch whether labor cooling continues, consumer pricing power and fuel costs.
1)Initial Jobless Claims — October 8, 08:30 ET
The print will test whether the labor market keeps cooling after weak September payrolls. A low claims number could lift year-end hike pricing and pressure SPY, QQQ and small-cap IWM.
Watchlist: SPY, QQQ, IWM
Spot: SPY / QQQ / IWM
Futures: SPY / QQQ / IWM
2)PepsiCo (PEP) — October 8 Pre-Market
Consensus is about $2.30–$2.32 EPS and about $25.0–$25.2 billion in revenue. Investors will watch organic volume, the margin contribution from pricing, and whether full-year guidance is raised. Options imply about 3.5% volatility.
Watchlist: PEP
Spot: PEP
Futures: PEP
3)Delta Air Lines (DAL) — October 8 Pre-Market
Consensus is about $1.99 EPS and about $17.8 billion in revenue. Focus is load factor, unit revenue, and the impact of Brent still near $100 on fuel costs and fourth-quarter guidance.
Watchlist: DAL
Futures: DAL

Payrolls Beat Revives Hike Pricing | WEEX TradFi Daily(September 7, 2026)
Global markets spent the weekend digesting last week’s payrolls data and crypto fund flows. August job growth of roughly 162,000 and a steady 4.1% unemployment rate pushed the 10-year Treasury yield to around 4.78%, reviving rate-hike pricing and weighing on technology and other long-duration assets. In crypto, bitcoin held near $80,000 as spot ETF inflows remained supportive, signaling that institutional risk appetite has not fully faded. At the same time, oil stayed firm on Middle East supply concerns, while gold consolidated at elevated levels. This week, attention turns to Oracle and Adobe earnings, as well as CPI, for the next repricing of the September Fed path.
