On October 7, the World Gold Council reported that global gold ETFs attracted $10 billion in inflows in September, pushing total inflows for the third quarter to a record $31 billion, primarily driven by funds listed in Europe and North America. Despite a decline in gold prices, global gold holdings increased by 67 tons, reaching a record 4,256 tons, while total assets under management fell by 7% to $574 billion. The U.S. led the inflows in the third quarter, with significant contributions from U.K.-listed funds, helping Europe achieve the same milestone, as the U.K. recorded its strongest quarterly performance ever.
