Kiyosaki Warns of Central Bank's Bond Sales and Gold Purchases
Robert Kiyosaki warned that the reduction of U.S. Treasury holdings by central banks and the expansion of gold purchases could lead to a sharp decline in the S&P 500 index. He emphasized that the baby boomer generation, which relies on stocks and bonds, could be significantly impacted, and he urged the purchase of gold, silver, and Bitcoin. According to CoinMarketCap on the 29th, Kiyosaki claimed that the trend of central banks disposing of U.S. Treasuries while buying gold could trigger a drop in the S&P 500 index. He cautioned that if both the stock and bond markets were to shake simultaneously, millions of baby boomers could lose their retirement assets and face housing instability. Kiyosaki pointed out the problems with traditional asset allocation strategies, arguing that if interest rates rise and the stock market adjusts at the same time, asset values could be severely damaged. Recently, long-term U.S. Treasury yields reached their highest level in over 20 years, and the decline in Treasury prices leads to rising interest rates. He presented gold, silver, and Bitcoin as alternative assets, emphasizing the need to hold tangible assets and Bitcoin. However, the potential for a sharp decline in the S&P 500 and housing instability for the baby boomer generation is Kiyosaki's personal outlook, and he did not specify the exact magnitude or timing of the decline.
