Tether Partners with Shiga to Launch Self-Custody Financial Products in Africa and the Gulf Region

Tether has partnered with Shiga to launch self-custody financial products in Africa and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, based on its open-source Wallet Development Kit (WDK). The product allows users and institutions to hold and transfer USD₮, Bitcoin, and Tether Gold (XAU₮). Among them, ENTA is aimed at individuals, high-net-worth users, and enterprises, while Pulse targets institutions such as banks and fintech companies, providing digital asset payment, fund management, and settlement services. Shiga is currently in the final stages of approval for its digital asset license in Nigeria.
